Kristin is an organic gardener and a great granddaughter of Joseph Illick who in the early 1900s was the owner of Illick’s Mill.

Frank is a member of the MCWA. He is a neighbor of the mill with 30 years of involvement in Monocacy Creek conservation efforts. His professional expertise is water management, and construction land development. He is now a building and land development consultant.

Joseph was the son of an original miller at Illick’s Mill, and before he passed away students of the Illick’s Mill project recorded his memories of the mill when it was in operation.

Kit is the grandson of an original miller at Illick’s Mill and son of Joseph Illick.
